Nuno Fusen

Yanaka is called the town of cats.  In the past, it was common to see cats congregating in vacant lots and many cats lounging on Yuyake Dandan, living freely while being cherished by the people of Yanaka Ginza.
Originally, Nunofusen sold handmade cloth goods in Yanaka Ginza. One day, the owner of Nunofusen took care of an injured stray cat that she often adored, and the cat took up residence in her shop and became the shop's signature cat.

This led to her original love for cats, and she began stocking her store with cat items, which has now become Yanaka's Specialty Cat Store.  The store is filled with a variety of cat-themed merchandise.  There are not only decorative items, but also chopsticks, mugs, masks, and other everyday items.

Recently, the most popular items have been the original miniature maneki neko (lucky cat) with a fortune inside, and postcards with illustrations of the store drawn by illustrator NECOZE.  They are also popular with overseas tourists.
