Mozu Coffee Shop

    Mozu Coffee Shop is a coffee shop located on the first floor of "Shiroi Omise" just outside the elevator entrance of Sendagi Station.

　The shop's signature item is "Kyusu Coffee".  This coffee is said to be brewed according to the method used in the Edo period (1603-1867), and comes with a Japanese teapot (kyusu), a Japanese tea cup, and an hourglass.  
    The coffee is made by soaking coarsely ground coffee beans in hot water and brewing them slowly to bring out the flavor of the beans, resulting in a mild and smooth coffee with a somewhat nostalgic taste.

    Homemade sweets and cookies made from Iwate's Nanbu wheat and dishes using seasonal ingredients are also popular.  Open from 8:00 a.m., the shop is also busy for breakfast.
